We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the Waterberg mountains. The location was perfect, right in the bush with free roaming wildlife, providing a truly authentic experience. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, always willing to inform us of the various activities available in the area. The rooms had stunning views and provided all the basic amenities we needed. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options to choose from.

Amazing upgrade to a honeymoon suite at no extra charge due to a power outage. The room was impressive and very private. The supervisor Shylock and William at Birdsong Cottages provided exceptional service. I would definitely recommend this place for a break away. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay.

The attention to detail is impressive, with antique decor and a well-stocked library providing a charming atmosphere. The friendly staff are always willing to assist and make you feel welcome. The rooms are clean, neat, and equipped with everything you need, including heaters for those chilly winter nights. Plus, the hotel's location allows for breathtaking views of the surrounding wildlife.

The cottages are set in a beautiful and serene location with plenty of wildlife and a peaceful environment. The cottages themselves are comfortable and come with daily housekeeping, which was a nice touch. the cottages came with some complementary items such as toiletries and refreshments, which were appreciated.

While the cottages themselves were comfortable, some aspects of the property were neglected and in need of maintenance. Broken walls and windows and a lack of basic safety features were concerning.
